Dr. Karen Sutherland is the Co-Founder of Dharana Digital, a digital marketing agency focused on empowering people working in the wellness space to help others by providing AI, SEO and Social Media solutions.
As well as being a Certified AI Consultant, Dr Karen is a Senior Lecturer in Public Relations at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia. Her research focuses on social media practice and pedagogy.

- The forthcoming book Transmedia Brand Storytelling – From Theory to Practice due for international release in late 2023.
Dr Sutherland’s research has appeared in journals included Public Relations Review and Media International Australia.
She has presented at conferences and industry events in Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, India, the UK and the USA and has been featured by media outlets in Australia, the USA, India and Bangladesh including ABC News Australia, ABC USA, Fox and NBC.
